his training in Fine Arts and Graphic Design to
each project. “If it has no artistry, I don’t want
it.” From early in his career Gerard was quickly
an award winning artist and designer. “My objective
in life is to create and there’s no better audience
than the mass public. Every project is an opportunity
to display our talents and skills. I don’t shy away
from resolving to all forms of artistic media.”
For Gerard, it is important that every project has
the potential to stimulate interest from every observer.
Born in Jamaica, residing in Trinidad, Canada, Illinois
and now Brooklyn, Gerard has been influenced by
artists, intellects, philosophers, teachers, and
people from all over the world. His open mind and
positive energy add to his ability to relate to
audiences, businesses, and individuals of all backgrounds.

Graphic
Design functions in society as a communications tool.
Messages, information, ideas, and identification are represented
through the use of visual graphics which include type,
symbols, illustrations, and photographs. The end product
is a given space harmoniously composed of these visual
elements viewed by a consumer or audience in the form
of printed or other visual media.
A graphic designer's intent is to create a memorable impression
on the consumer or audience. This is achieved through
skill and strategy.
Graphic design may be broken down into various divisions.
These fields may be categorized as print & identity,
web, and motion graphics (among others).
Services rendered for the end-product in print design
include: logos, brochures, flyers, CD packaging, catalogs,
books, magazines, advertisements, posters, package design,
T-shirts, and etc.
Web design involves developing graphics and images for
web sites and online advertisements. While print design
requires the final services of a commercial printer, web
design depends on computer programming for images and
text to appear in a web browser. Motion
Graphics are related to the television and film industry
as titles and credits are prepared for video and film.
